DESCRIPTION:  \nReady to test your skills?  The time has come.  Introducing the CKMAF High Belt Challenge.  Open to Green Blue belts and above both Juniors and Adults. Two competitions: Self Defence and Weapons Sparring And a Social Afterwards. \nWeapons Sparring:  Try your skills against\, sword\, long stick  and medium stick.  Which weapon will prevail. \nSelf Defence:  Juniors demonstrate some Hap Ki Do techniques.  Adults demonstrate 6 Self Defence techniques and then demonstrate three more defences against attacks we randomly pick for you. \nClick here for the rules. \n  \nCompete and then meet your fellow high belts.  We are supplying food and drink afterwards . \nJune 21\, 2025. (We will try to keep the group numbers small.) The cost of the tournament will be $35 per competitor (for 2 divisions). This year\, we will be featuring a special Black Belt Championship Division (same entry fee: $35 per competitor). We are also inviting a couple of friendly schools (owned by Chung Oh School Alumni) to participate in our event this year.\n\nIn addition to the main Patterns and Sparring divisions\, we will also have 1 Additional (optional) Division. The cost of the additional division is $5. DESCRIPTION:The CKMAF Inter-School Championship Tournament will be held on Saturday May 6\, 2023. \nThe Interschool Championship will be an annual event and one of the two events we encourage you to attend. This is what the youth refer to as the Trophy Event. We award Trophies for 1st\, 2nd and Third place and participation medals for youth 11 years old and younger who may not place in the first three positions. \nFor the older youth it is Trophies 1st\, 2nd and 3rd only. \nYou (or your child) will compete in two events. Patterns and non-contact Sparring. For the non-contact sparring each youth is guaranteed a minimum of two matches. \nWe will be starting a little Earlier 10A.M for Ages 5 – 10. DESCRIPTION:Tournament ReScheduled:\n \nJW-TKD Inter-School Invitational Tournament: Saturday March 18\, 2023\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDue to the Environment Canada Storm Watch forecast\, I am rescheduling the tournament (originally planned for this Saturday) for safety reasons. They are calling for 15 – 20 cm of blowing snow (and dangerous driving conditions possible). This front is scheduled to arrive on Friday evening (tomorrow) and continue into Saturday morning.\n\n\n Williams Taekwondo Inter-School Tournament is rescheduled to  Saturday March 18th 2023 – starting at 10:00 am.  This date is the last Saturday of March Break.\n\nOur tournament is all inclusive. There will be a division (skill level +/or age group) for each and every student to participate in.
