Tournament Fee:       $40.00 for 2 Divisions

Additional Divisions:  $5.00 ea

Spectators: $5 ea || $10 family

Please Note: Depending on the risk level or capacity restrictions in place on April 2, we may have to limit the number of family members or friends per competitor.

Patterns and Sparring:                                         All Belt Levels, including Black Belt

Longest Kick (Side Kick):                                    Yellow-Green Belt & Up

Highest Kick (Running, Jumping High Kick):    Yellow-Green Belt & Up

Please Note: Due to the skill level, we have set Yellow-Green as a minimum. If you have Yellow Belt students who have good experience with running kicks, exceptions can be made, based on Instructors’ recommendation. They would then compete in the lowest level.

We will be following the guidelines of Waterloo Region Public Health that are in place on April 2, 2022. Depending on capacity requirements imposed at the time, we will be starting the tournament at 11:00 am. If we need to stagger the start time for Juniors and Adults or Individual Belt Levels, we will advise in due course and in a timely manner prior to the tournament.

The kicking competitions will be held after the Junior patterns and sparring divisions are completed and before the Adult patterns and sparring begin (circa 12:30 pm). Juniors will go first.

Divisions and Belt Levels will be determined by the mix of competitors who register. We will keep the divisions small (especially under 8 yrs) and belt level appropriate. Sparring will be non contact, in the ITF tradition.

Please Note: Food and water will be provided for judges, time-keepers and helpers. Water will be available to competitors and spectators for a nominal fee (proceeds to St. Paul’s food program).
